Harry Potter Themed Art Card/Craft Exchange
It's that time of year again.
What is it?
It is an exchange where people draw art on a blank post card, make some sort of crafty item, make a collage, write a poem on handmade paper, cookies (note allergies), or maybe even knit a Weasley sweater, and mail it to your recipient by the Holiday season. Last year there was a good smattering or beautiful art, as well as amazing crafts and stories. (I love my SOCKS!) The point is to send something creative to your recipient with a Harry Potter theme. Who doesn't love getting fun stuff in the mail?
Even if you think you aren't creative, can't draw or paint or write, join up anyway. If all you can do is stick figures, by all means, draw stick figures!
Who can participate?
Anyone with a love for art, getting things in the mail and Harry Potter. You don't have to be on my Flist, so pass this on if you want.
And yes, International participants are of course welcome!
Note: those who signed up but did not fulfill their obligation last year are not allowed to participate.
When are sign ups?
Sign ups go from now until Friday, October 30th. That gives people almost two weeks to sign up.
When do I mail my card?
The point is to send something out during the Holiday season. So please send it with the arrival time close to the recipients holiday of choice (or near the end of December if no holiday is chosen.)
How do I sign up?

- Your art does not have to be holiday themed, but by all means focus it on the holiday if you wish.
- You can sign up for up to three cards/exchanges. But remember, signing up to get three means you have to mail off three.
- Please scan or photocopy or somehow send me an image of your art so I can post it by January 1st, 2009. Send it to winnett at gmail.com with a heading telling me your LJ name, your recipients LJ name, as well as the 'title' of your work.
- Please make sure anything rated R or higher is sent in a separate envelope for privacy purposes.
